Advocacy Priorities

Our advocacy efforts in 2019 are focused on three major areas:

  1. Increasing the compensation of Direct Support Professionals to achieve workforce stability for people currently served and for those on the waiting list.
  2. The need for a market index to be applied annually to statewide fee schedule rates.
  3. System simplification that enables more efficiency and reduces the administrative barriers that inhibit our ability to innovate and access all available services.
